The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded $162 million to expand Registered Apprenticeship programs in high-demand sectors — including shipbuilding, defense, AI and semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunications, automotive, and information technology. Eligible Registered Apprenticeship sponsors can apply for incentive payments beginning Fall 2026.
